Terms of Use

What Patiduel is

Patiduel is a social network where cat owners and street-cat lovers share their cats, and the most-liked cat is picked by vote at regular intervals (currently every month). Patiduel is run by Nazlı Üstünerciyas.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 to sign up. If you are under 18, ask your parents first.
• One account per person. Opening more than one account, especially to influence votes, is not allowed.
• Your username cannot be changed later. Names that impersonate others, insult people or look like a brand may be removed.
• You are responsible for keeping your account safe; don't share sign-in links with anyone.

What you share

• Only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to share.
• Keep photos about the cat. Photos that mainly show people's faces, especially children's, may be removed.
• Don't share a street cat's exact location (street, building). For the cats' safety, location is shown at district level at most.
• You keep ownership of what you share. You give us a free, non-exclusive permission to show and resize it on Patiduel and to use it in rankings, share cards and Patiduel's own announcements (for example announcing the week's winner on social media). When you delete content, this permission ends, except for announcements already made.

Not allowed

• Insults, harassment, threats, hate speech and targeting people.
• Content showing violence or cruelty to animals.
• Illegal content, or sharing other people's personal information.
• Selling cats, advertising and spam.
• Manipulating votes: fake accounts, bots, vote trading, collecting Meowfluencer hearts automatically.
• Trying to break the site or get around its limits.

Contests

• Cat of the Month (or Cat of the Week) and The Meowfluencer are for fun; there are no cash or gift prizes.
• Results are calculated automatically by the rules on the site. If cheating is found, votes may be removed, the cat may be taken out of the contest and the result corrected.
• The "least liked" list is a joke; it is never meant to put down any cat or owner.

Moderation

• We may remove content that breaks the rules without warning, and close accounts temporarily or permanently.
• Comments and messages have a banned-word filter and sending limits.
• When messages may be reviewed is explained on the Privacy page.
• If you see something that breaks the rules, use the "Report" link next to it. The owner never sees who reported it.

Pati+

A paid Pati+ membership may come later. The price and terms of paid features will be shown separately before you buy.

Liability

• We provide Patiduel as is. We can't guarantee it will always work without interruptions or errors.
• Whoever shares something is responsible for it.
• To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage from using the site.

Closing your account

You can delete your account yourself at any time with the "Delete my account" link on your profile; if you have trouble, write to iletisim@patiduel.com. When your account is deleted, your cats, photos, comments and messages are deleted.

Changes and law

• These terms may change. We announce important changes on the site; continuing to use the site after the announcement means you accept the new terms.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
• Send problems and questions to iletisim@patiduel.com.
